Paintball fun

Austin and a few friends went out to a local paintball field this morning at 8am, they stayed for 4 hours, they had a BLAST! He wants to start doing this every weekend. You rent the gun, goggles and they give you a bunch of painballs, then whoever shows up, usually around 30 or so people get broken up into 2 teams and you go to war, there is a couple of acres of obsticle courses. You wouldnt believe how FILTHY these boys were! I made jamie put them in his truck! I had to throw in the pics of my cuties, toothless cuties! Jakes are growing in, yikes! Brody just lost his other, he has been consistantly one tooth behind jake, you know this has driven him crazy!!!

FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE!!!!

This was Brodys first scrimmge ever playing tackle, he loves it! He is the youngest kid on his team so he doesnt get quite as much play time as some of the others but he doesnt seem to notice at all,he just loves being part of the team, when he got home he couldnt stop talking about "did you see me tackle that kid" he was so proud of himself!

I wasnt able to get any action pics of austins game, i need a new camera. Austin did AMAZING!!! He is the starting running back for his Jr midget team. He played so well, this is going to be such a fun year to watch him!

Opening ceremonies were held on Friday night, it is a very fun event,a local BBQ resturant caters it, there is tons of food, lots of differnt jumpies, obsticle courses, face and hair painting. We have close to 300 kids on all of our squads combined so you can imagine it is quite an event. This is when all the teams get to stand up and introduce themselves. First Day of School

Horray! The long summer is over and life is back to normal!! Dont get me wrong, I do love spending time with my boys, but too much time together for them turns me into non-stop referee....The boys are so excited to return to school, jakes best bud chattman is in his class, he has brodys teacher from last year, i love her, she is prepared that the boys are nothing alike:) As you can see jake won the mohawk battle, we have even been into hair cutting salons and he would cry and we would agree to return the next day, and that wouldnt happen. I had been telling him he could keep it until school starts, he really wanted it, i guess your only 6 once, he cant really pull that off much older so now it is.....Brody has many of last year classmates again in his class this year, he is a very popular boy and gets along well with all the kids, he will do great. Football has started and he is really excelling. there are many big kids (10 &11 yr olds!) on his team, but he is showing out really well. Austin was up and out way early before i was even out of bed so no pics of him,sorry... lets all pray for a super good year with no trouble for my trouble makers, (not naming names:) )

Baseball

Brody and Jake played for the Charlston River Dawgs. They were so cute and had a blast, so funny all the kids insisted on sliding into everybase whether they needed to or not...

Jakes "girlfriend" Christina, they were "boyfriend/girlfriend" the whole school year!! The whole kindergaten did the end of the year production. Colors of the rainbow, jake was green... End of the year field day...very fun, I voulteered.

We had planned a huge 6th birthday party at the park for jake, we had rented the big jumpee obsticle course, tons of food, decorations, he was so excited, we had the whole kindergarten class and baseball team coming...... arizona in march usually beatiful... of course not this saturday, we had the worst storm, freezing rain, it was awful, no one showed, so we moved it to the pizza place with family and he got over it pretty quick, poor guy!

I just took these so that you all can have an idea of what they all look like today, since I have sent pics last they have all grown so much and grown lots of hair as you can see! Thats the new craze down here, jake has a mohawk that he is having a real hard time parting with for the school year. He has until wednesday, then we will be cutting it for school. If you look closely you can see that jake is missing his two front teeth, it is so cute. Brody is a bit peeved that Jake has lost more teeth than him.

They are loving eachother alot at the moment, it wont last long, they just havent seen eachother for a week!

Its been a long time since i have taken or sent out any pics of the family or kids...I am staring this blog so hopefully I can do a better job of keeping all of my long distance family and friends posted on our ever so busy life. In the next few months we will be so busy with the boys starting school and Austin and Brody starting football. I will do my best to share ! Here are a few older pics I found that I love......

These were taken in california while visiting Ron and Dayna and the kids last christmas..

This was taken when I picked the boys up from their week long camp. I was so worried about Brody, he has never been away from home, I was a wreck! he had promised to write me,he did not... Austin has been to this same camp for the last 6 years, I also went to this camp as a kid. They had so much fun, we had an hour drive home and stopped for an hour to eat breakfast on the way, they couldnt stop talking, they were interupting eachother, they had so much to say! I guess austin was the stud of that camp, he had 7 different girls ask him to the dance :) He ended up going with a 16 yr old!! I guess he had a 15 yr old take Brody! She couldnt take austin so she took the next best thing, his 7 yr old brother!! While at camp Austins voice started to change, he is so very proud of that! Lastly....... the big funny looking dog is our year old mastiff mix puppy Rambo. He missed his boys soooo much!
